What is microblading?

Microblading is a form of semi-permanent tattooing where nine tiny blades deposit pigment under the skin of your eyebrows. The colouring mimics the appearance of eyebrow hairs, drawn to create a fuller, bolder appearance that naturally complements the face and existing hairs.

This long-lasting treatment is perfect for various situations, including health conditions such as alopecia, eyebrow damage from overplucking, or simply to enhance your confidence with reshaped eyebrows.

What are the advantages of microblading?

Microblading can provide you with fuller looking eyebrows without the time, and effort of everyday make up application or the discomfort of a fully permanent approach.

The treatment itself causes no bleeding, and post-treatment, you may experience minimal swelling or redness. And, because we draw every hair by hand instead of a machine, you’ll be left with a much more natural finish with no mistakes or ‘felt pen’ effects.

Following your treatment, the pigment will keep its colour, ensuring your shade does not change over time. The procedure is also much faster than other permanent techniques.

Before & After Treatment

The Treatments

Our Individual Brow Hair Strokes will take approximately 2 hours, and will include a six-week top-up:

The Treatment

Step 1 – Consultation

Your journey to fuller-looking eyebrows will begin with a discussion about what shape and colour of eyebrow you’re looking to achieve. Our Eyebrow Technician will colour match the pigment with your skin, eye and hair colour to ensure the finished look is entirely natural. We’ll then draw on the eyebrow shape using a pencil and adjust until it’s perfect.

Step 2 – Your Treatment

Your treatment will then begin with our precision microblading tool. Our technician will draw individual hairs by hand, mimicking your existing eyebrows’ natural length and direction. The pigment will then be deposited into the skin, leaving you with defined and natural-looking brows.

Step 3 – Aftercare

For the first 3-4 days following treatment, your eyebrows may appear 20% darker, but this will fade to reveal the true colour. Post-treatment, you may also experience some redness or swelling, but this will quickly go down.

You will then be welcomed back six weeks later for your free top-up appointment. We’ll review your brows and make any shape changes or add more pigment during this session depending on how you feel. Everyone’s healing process is different, so some may require additional colour where the drawn hairs haven’t held as well.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does microblading take?

Your first microblading session will take approximately 2 hours, during which, your practitioner will shape, style, colour match and begin the microblading treatment.

You will then return six weeks later for a free follow-up visit to touch up the eyebrows and ensure the pigment has taken.

Is a touch-up session necessary?

The touch-up session will be necessary as everyone will experience different healing processes. Certain areas of the skin may not pick-up pigment as well as others, so the touch-up session can ensure they look even and refined.

Is microblading painful?

Some may experience some mild discomfort, similar to a light scratch, during treatment. However, we’ll use a topical numbing cream to minimise any sensation during treatment, and our state-of-the-art microblading tools are designed to reduce discomfort even further.

Following treatment, you may experience a sensation similar to a sunburn, along with some redness and slight swelling, but this will disappear within a few days.

How long will my results last?

Depending on how well your skin retains the pigment, your results will last for between 9 – 12 months at which point we recommend you return for a maintenance top-up.
